Eduardo is Professor in Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales at BUAP, in the area of theory, reional and world politics for the bachelor’s degree in International Relation and the Master’s degree program International Relation and Human Rights. He is a member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI), level I, CONACyT, Mexico.

Eduardo is Secretary of the Coordination of the South-South Cooperation and regional integrations Research Group of the Red Española de Estudios del Desarrollo (GICSS-REEDES).
